Who we are
The database controller and the sender of advertising messages: טאקוקאן. Email: eli@a-in.co.il. Takukan is a platform for finding a home through a conversation, and is not a party to any deal.
What we collect and why
- The conversation — what is written or said in it, to answer and to understand what you are looking for.
- Contact details you gave (name, phone, sometimes email) — to save your search, pass on a request when you ask, and send updates only if you agreed.
- Search requirements built from the conversation (budget, areas, rooms, preferences) and the matches shown to you, with the reasons.
- Phone calls — a recording and a transcript, when a call takes place (see below).
- Consent records — every consent and withdrawal: the exact wording shown, when, and the IP address and browser, so we can prove what you agreed to — and what you did not.
We do not collect data the service does not need, and we do not buy or sell databases.
Required or voluntary
You are under no legal obligation to give us any data; everything is with your consent. You can chat without leaving details; without a phone number we cannot pass your request to a sales office or save your search, and without consent to a channel we send no advertising on it.
Talking to an automated system
The conversation on the site, on WhatsApp and by phone is run by an automated system (AI), and every conversation says so at its start. You can ask for a human at any point.
Who your data is shared with
- The sales office of the project you asked to hear from — only after you press "interested", next to which it says exactly which details are passed on. One agent receives the request, for a limited exclusivity period.
- A licensed broker — only if you asked for a valuation and separately agreed to be contacted about selling.
- An advisor you asked for in the conversation (a mortgage advisor, an appraiser or a tax advisor). This happens only if you asked for advice and agreed in the conversation to pass your details on. Before you agree, you are told who will receive them and exactly what is passed on: your name, your phone, what you said about your search, and your answers to the advisor's questions. They are passed on for the advice only, and the wording you agreed to is kept.
- Service providers processing data for us — hosting, email delivery, WhatsApp, telephony, and the AI models that draft the replies. They process it for the service only.
Every transfer to a company is logged, and you can see it on the Your privacy page. Your data is never sold, never passed to advertisers, and never shared between competing companies.
Advertising messages
We send advertising only on a channel you explicitly agreed to (email, WhatsApp or phone calls), and only about what the wording you agreed to names:
- new homes that fit your search;
- price changes on homes that fit you;
- developers' promotions on projects that fit you;
- a periodic summary of your matches (email and WhatsApp only).
Every such message is labelled "Advertisement" and carries the sender's name, address and a way to contact them. Consent to marketing calls lasts 12 months, and calls may come from a digital assistant and are recorded. No more than 2 advertising messages and calls a week across all channels, none between 20:00 and 10:00, and none on Saturday.
How to stop: write "STOP" on WhatsApp or in the chat; press the unsubscribe link in any email; say on a call that you do not want these calls; or switch it off on the Your privacy page — a whole channel, or one topic on every channel. It takes effect at once. Service messages about something you asked for (like a reminder for a meeting you booked) are not advertising.
Phone calls
Calls with the digital assistant are recorded and transcribed, and each call says so at its start. The recording is deleted after 12 months and the transcript after 24 months. Anyone who asked on a call not to be called is not called again, for any reason, unless they ask us to themselves.
How long data is kept
An inactive search profile is deleted automatically after 24 months. You can request full deletion at any moment — one click on the privacy page, no support ticket. Consent and withdrawal records are kept after the profile is deleted, as evidence of what you agreed to and what you withdrew.
Your rights
- Access the data stored about you and receive a copy — from the privacy page.
- Ask for inaccurate data to be corrected.
- Delete your profile — immediately, from the privacy page.
- Withdraw any consent — effective immediately.
- Complain to the Privacy Protection Authority if you believe your privacy was harmed.
Security
Access is limited to authorised staff: a company's agents see only their own company's requests, and this is checked on every screen. Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), and secrets such as access keys are encrypted at rest.
